The study starts from the consideration that the electric car was invented last century and the way we think mobility will revolutionize the digital car. In analogy to what will happen in the energy sector where change is caused by non renewable energy, but distributed, digital controlled.

The main point of this issue wich analyses opportunities and strategies for involvement in the Digital Car revolution is that decision makers must be prepared to seize these opportunities and ride the contradicitions of the impeding revolution.
Revolutions happen because social and cultural changes occur together with economic and technological upheaval.
We have before our eyes a new generation of humans, digital natives, who are empowered by tools that they use more meaningfully than can the traditional establishment.
